The Clinic
Family Massage Therapy of NJ is a medical massage office located in a historic building in Bayonne on the corner of 33rd Street and Broadway. All care is centered on maximizing each patients health potential utilizing various Massage techniques that best suits his or her needs. In conjuction with massage therapy we have different health pratitioners available to each patient which include Chiropractic, Physical Therapy, a Certified Wellness Coach, Hollistic Nutrionist, and specific diagnostic testing.
The Massage Therapists
Melissa Rada has always had that soothing massage touch since early childhood. From massaging her mother to massaging her friends and family, she always loved massage. Melissa has been a long time patient of massage therapy and chiropractic. She had suffered from sciatica (lower back pain) from a work related injury many years ago and could not find any relief from the pain medications being prescribed to her. When she was pregnant with her first child the sciatica worsened so a family member recommended Chiropractic care and Massage, and the rest is history!
Melissa decided to study clinical massage therapy and graduated from the Academy of Massage Therapy in Clinical Massage with honors. Melissa has her NYS license and is also Nationally Certified with National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork. She opened her massage practice in August of 2010 and works closely with the Chiropractors of 33rd street. Melissa has been married for 14 years to her handsome, supportive husband Adel and have four beautiful children.
